The 18th edition of the Historic Rally of Portugal concluded in style in Sintra, and during the awards ceremony, the Automóvel Club de Portugal revealed some exciting details about the 2025 edition, which will take place from June 17 to 21.
A new date will also see the introduction of a Tourist Drive format, running alongside the sporting event. Participants in the Tourist Drive will follow the Historic Rally of Portugal's route, but with a more relaxed itinerary, focused on exploring the region and its tourism potential, featuring activities that showcase the unique qualities of each area the rally passes through.
Additionally, the organization plans to further promote the Low Average Speed format, aimed at older cars. This format was already in place this year for the Historic Rally of Portugal Trophy. The first edition of the trophy was won by the French duo Eric Lataste and Daniel Trevisanut, driving a 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint.
